Reconnect Film Awards held on August 15th, 2022
On Monday August 15, 2022 “Reconnect Film Awards 2022” was held at UMT Campus Lahore. The event was co-hosted by UMT SMCS – School of Media and Communication Studies
The event was attended by faculty of different universities, representatives of the corporate world, and the film industry. A large number f young filmmakers and students also attended the event making it the first of its kind gathering in Pakistan.
Dr. Anjum Zia, Dean SMCS, gave the welcome address at Reconnect Film Awards 2022.

Award ceremony started with presentation of shields to 7 of the Top 10 Finalists.
Since Hafiza Ali could not attend the event, her award was received by her friend.
Since Seema Iqbal could not attend the event, her award was received by her friend.
Since Safar Ali Danish could not attend the event, his award was received by his friend.
Since Suhaina Zaheer Ansari could not attend the event, her award was received by her friend.
Project Reconnect Founders presented Appreciation Shield to Dr. Umer Saleem. University of Education was one of the institutional partner of RFA 2022.
An Appreciation Shield was presented to Mr. Ammar of Phramography for being creative partner in RFA 2022.
An Appreciation Shield was presented to Mr. Noor ul Azeem of Future Vision for being Marketing partner in RFA 2022.
An Appreciation Shield was presented to Mr. Ali Rana of Universal College Lahore for being Institutional Partner in RFA 2022.
